Born in Milan in 1958, artist Lorenzo Traverso is the great nephew of Genovese artists Mattia Traverso (1885-1956) and Antonino Traverso (1900-1981) and son of Genovese artist Nino Traverso (1922-1980).  Lorenzo began creating art at a young age and continues to create drawings and paintings when he's not sailing around the globe as Chief Engineer for Royal Caribbean International.
